So im having trouble with which route to take with my posters so I did two different versions... the first one does not have the type face I want only because im having touble finding it..

For these posters I really want to explore the use of different textures and patterns as well as creating the art for the pieces with charcoal on textured paper. I also want to add a distressed/ grunge look to the posters.

Film Festival

For this festival I have decided to choose a very famous and interesting director as the main theme for my posters. Quentin Tarantino has directed so many interesting movies which I have enjoyed watching. Movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Death Proof, and Inglorious Bastards just to name a few. For my project I really want to capture his true grunge/ mysterious directing techniques and go with movies I am really comfertable with. I decided to go with Kill Bill, Death Proof, and Inglorious Bastards. By useing my own imagery and ideas I feel it will make the posters feel different and new as well and very interesting to look at. By takeing elements from old movie posters as well as the film itself, new and interesting methods of art can be easily achieved.
